You will be 32bits with that setup and as you say the 600 sensor is huge!
I am using the Stellarmate App which does bypass the problem. I don't think there is an App for Astroberry? You get to see you image on the App, it also has a histogram. Then you can disable the fits viewer in KStars.
Rishi, you can try SM OS v1.7.0 Beta which is a "full-blown" 64bit OS and yes even 4GB would benefit. From your core dump, looks like notification sounds are enabled? This is disabled by default in StellarMate (for quite a while now), unless you started with a release from 2+ years ago and then kept upgrading. At any rate, in KStars setting --> configure notifications and disable all sounds.
Can I upgrade to the Beta or do I have to start with a new image.
I did set the Release Type to Beta but when I ran the package updater it did not look like the beta.
I wasn't necessarily going to post here, but I have been running for a few days without crashing till last night. There was only one change I made for last nights imaging session, which was to enable "Fast Exposure".
I am not sure if it is related and hence the reason for not thinking about posting on this thread.
The actual problem I was experiencing with the new setting was with "Fast Exposure" enabled; Meridan Flip does work. I am looking for another post on Meridian Flip now and will explain more in that post. Maybe it has some form of relationship to the crash but I am not ready to investigate.
