INDI Library v2.0.6 is Released (02 Feb 2024)

Bi-monthly release with minor bug fixes and improvements

The latest INDI AAG Cloudwatcher NG driver version 1.6 no longer reads ANY sensors

The recent Stable version of KStars wouldn't REFRESH my AAG Cloudwatcher.  INDI pulled the correct data from all the sensors, but it would no longer refresh.   So today I did an update/upgrade and saw that new updated INDI drivers were available, including AAG Cloudwatcher NG version 1.6.  The previous version was 1.5.    Well - now INDI no longer pulls ANY data from the Cloudwatcher.  But it does refresh!  It just refreshes with all zeros for data.

PS:  I did notice that this new version (1.6) shows Relative Humidity - but that sensor is only available on the very latest Cloudwatcher hardware.  It seems this new driver no longer supports the older (black) Cloudwatcher systems?

Can you turn on auxiliary logging and attach the log? I received the latest AAG for development purposes and updated the driver accordingly. It is possible that querying for relative humidity causes some issues, let's see the log.

Thanks Jasem for looking into this. I have attached log - but if I need to turn on something else let me know. When I launched EKOS, I only connected the Cloudwatcher and Esatto focuser. Also note that the ZWO CCD driver also did not load! I swapped out this updated version of KStars with the previous SD card to test, and the ZWO CCD driver loaded fine, so the only thing that changed was the upgrade yesterday.

Hey, how have you solved your issue?

I'm getting this error too:

I have reverted commit dd36e6e7a2f08d03f821e62cde8887ccdffc6117 and build indi-aagcloudwatcher which works fine ...

mkdir -p ~/Projects/build/indi-aagcloudwatcher
cd ~/Projects/build/indi-aagcloudwatcher
cmake -DCMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX=/usr -DCMAKE_BUILD_TYPE=Debug ~/Projects/indi-3rdparty/indi-aagcloudwatcher
make -j4
sudo make install

Well it seems to be broken again.
I'm using a brand new aag cloud watcher with latest firmware and latest Indi and it does not work with the Ng driver .... And the old driver was removed from repo .. so I had to build it from git

Wow, that NG Driver is a really mess and the whole sensor readings are wrong mapped in the driver.

I analyzed the issue, and my device returns two additional answers on the Humidity request:
