Bresser Exos 2 not tracking (Stellarmate)

Hi. I have a Bresser Exos 2 mount and I'm trying to use it with Stellarmate. I connected the mount to Stellarmate using a cable bought from astro gadget. It seems that the mount is recognized properly because there are logs about setting the location, time etc in the indi control panel. However after a few seconds an error shows up that the watchdog timed out. When I wanted to test if the mount is working properly I went to the mount control menu in Ekos and tried to move the mount, but an error showed in the logs saying that moving the mount is only available when the mount is tracking even though the mount mode was set to track in the indi control panel. Does anyone know how to fix this issue?

Have you tried to slew and track an object first then use these buttons?

I tried slewing to an object in KStars by pressing the "Slew telescope to the focused object" button but nothing happens. The only thing is this message in the logs
[INFO] BresserExosIIDriver::Goto: Going to Right Ascension: 4.081651 Declination :51.374901...

Ok, then this is most likely a communication issue. Which port are you connecting to? and what baud rate is used?

I set the baud rate to 57600 but I also tried with other values. I'm connecting to whatever port the driver finds because the auto search option is turned on. I tried using the port manager in the Stellarmate web manager and set the mount port to /dev/mount and that didn't work either but maybe I did something wrong.

Ok, please create an issue in the INDI 3rd party repo and we'll follow it up from there.

After updating all the packages on the Stellarmate and changing the baud rate to 9600 I managed to get this message in the logs
[INFO] INFO: Communication seems to be established!
. Now the problem is that when I try to slew to a target the hand controller resets and I need to input the date, time and location again but after that nothing happens. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?
