Controlling a Losmandy Model 492 with INDI

Hi all,

I've been unsuccessfully trying to control a Losmandy mount with INDI. The computer board of the mount says "Model 492". I can't even connect to the mount with the Losmandy Gemini driver. Only driver that seems to connect to it is LX90, but it doesn't seem to be able to move the mount.

Has anyone had better success with this particular mount?

Thanks

How you are connecting to the mount and what sort of control are you expecting.

The interface is called ST4 and all you can do remotely is move the mount in four directions at whatever speed you have set the control box to.

This will allow you to use if to the guide but nothing else.

Sorry that message lacked precision.

I'm connecting to the mount via the 'HC/CCD' input, which is a socket I don't know the name for, a small RJ45. My hope was to be able to control the telescope with Ekos, and especially use the platesolving function, as well as guiding with a separate guide scope.

Couldn't control the mount with INDI, but I finally was able to guide it with PHD (with the mount set as "on camera").

hastebin.com/memuvecade.sqlHere is the log for that session.

Computer is running Xubuntu 16.04 with up to date Kstars/Ekos and INDI drivers.

Thanks

There is no RS232 connector on your mount? I don't think you can use HD/CCD with INDI.
