Any chance there will ever be a way to control my CEM25 mount via INDI and the STARFI wifi adapter?

Try it out. In Connection tab, switch connection mode to Ethernet. Then put the IP address of the STARFI and whatever port they use for communication. You have to check their manual. then save settings and try to connect to it from INDI.

I tried it last night for a brief period. I was able to get INDI to recognize the Starfi and all seemed to be working fine - until I gave the CEM25 a command to point to an object, and it instead slewed to the opposite side of the sky. I'll play with it some more later in the weekend and see if I can figure out what is going on. I'll send logs if I can't get anywhere.

On a side note: To connect INDI to the Starfi I need the IP address of the Starfi - which is dynamic and assigned by my router or Stellarmate. So I have to go into the network control panel to see which IP address was assigned to it. I need to figure how to create a static one to make this process easier.

Logs coming soon, but right now I wanted to show you the error message that I see when I connect INDI to the StarFi.
The message that appears in the status box is [ERROR] ONLY RECEIVED #18 BYTES, EXPECTED 7
This message keeps popping up every second.

I plugged the Starfi into the CEM25 mount, and set it up to connect to the Stellarmate.
I then set up INDI to connect to the StarFi at IP 10.250.250.146 port 8899.
It seemed to connect fine - and I even had some ability to move the scope, so I know it had a connection - but it was not usable.

Bump. Only because the Starfi does connect, but also continues to spill an error message continuously every second or two after connecting.

Anyone have any ideas of what I can do to try and fix this? The logs are posted above.

Everything in the logs appear to be OK, I don't see any problems?

Odd. So I wonder what causes the "[ERROR] ONLY RECEIVED #18 BYTES, EXPECTED 7" message that keeps popping up every second.

Try this one.
Please note again that I did not have my cameras connected, so disregard those errors.

Thanks for the log, I found the issue and fixed it (hopefully) so in the next PPA update it should be reflected. Please check.
