Hello, I'm trying to control the Skywatcher Virtuoso Mount with the INDI driver and kstars, but it shows the following error message:

[WARNING] Communication with /dev/ttyUSB0 @ 9600 failed.

Somebody know anything about? Or having a similar problem?

Thanks,

V.

I have the same mount. What is your configuration?

If you have Synscan handset, I recommend to use Synscan mount driver. I fixed that driver properly and it is more robust than the Skywatcher Alt-Az mount driver.
Or do you connect the mount directly to your computer?

I connect the mount direct to computer with a Prolific Cable USB/RS232.

Disconnect anything else and connect mount, it sounds like it’s conflicting with another USB to serial device..then use the serial mapping tool to map it to a fixed address...

Hello, thanks for the answer. I did that, disconnect all devices except the Prolific Cable USB/RS232. I got the same message on KStars. Any suggestions?
