Controlling modded losmandy mount with INDI

I have a G11 mount with Gemini 2 that has McLennan gearboxes instead of the original gearboxes. When using Ascom drivers, it’s necessary to switch the type of mount to MI-250 so it tracks correctly.

Since I’m very keen on controlling my entire setup with Ekos, will I run into issues with my modded G11 using the INDI driver? Is there a way to change the mount type to MI-250? Do I even have to do that going the INDI route?

Thank you!

Hello Hatty, welcome to INDI forums. I emailed Eric who developed the driver and hopefully he can provide a definite answer on this.

It should be doable but let me look back at the source. I haven't touched that code in a while and it may take me a few days because work is really crazy at the moment. I will reply here when I get an answer.

This has been answered elsewhere, the control is handled by the mount controller and Ekos just sends the commands and the mount responds.

Nothing further should be required.
