David is using just the Control Panel, values are not interpreted in any way with exception of format provided in defXXXVector.

Still with CloudMakers 2.0.9-2.

Agreed. I think resolving the Dec. issue will be a big breakthrough.

DEBUG 1674.012554 sec : CMD (#:Sd038880000#) indicates older code since I removed the initial #

Can you test on Ubuntu as well?

Updated version (rev 2175) is here: INDI_Server_2.0.10.dmg .

You can check version of INDI you are running in INDI Server -> About. Last number in parenthesis is SVN revision... Peter

To test under Ubuntu. Where do I go to download this server that is under test? The version now under Ubuntu indilib-full says I am already running it.

It is strange, there is no "#:Sd" in the code and the driver is freshly rebuild (20:31 CET from rev 2175). David, are you sure that it is not some older log? Peter

How perceptive you are! Yes, the # has gone away. Running 2.0.10

Cleared out old log files so as not to get confused. The new one shows...

DEBUG 113.075991 sec : CMD (:Sr71673998#)
DEBUG 113.102561 sec : RES (1)
DEBUG 113.102672 sec : CMD (:Sd+28810500#)
DEBUG 113.132446 sec : RES (1)

RA and Dec coordinates now work correctly. Later today (my time) I plan to go through Control Panel and CLI to determine what is remaining. Are there any items known to be issues to avoid?

Really Close. Important functionality works such as driving to RA and Dec especially. I cannot Home the mount. Setting a rate to Lunar does not work.
Rather than testing everything, this is just of remaining issues. First.
MacOS
INDI_Server_2.0.10
INID Control Panel
Then
INDI-Server
CLI

Well, try turning on "Driver Debug" only (NO Scope Verbose) and let us see the commands as they get sent to the mount and the reply you get when you perform these actions.

Worked quite well.
INDI_server 2.0.11
The 2015-03-30 files were created using CloudMakers INDI_server and INDI_Control_Panel.
Parameter fields were not populated so these were examined using the command line.

File Attachment:

File Name: indi_ieq_t...otes.txt
File Size:5 KB

The 2015-03-31 file has notes when examining settings being present from the command line.
Properties are indeed picked up after a 'Load'. UTC and UTC offset are not populated.
I can't figure out the string to use to perform either of the Home actions.
Last edit: 8 years 11 months ago by David Elmore. Reason: Still not clear.
