Celestron mount moves when the simulated time puts the item near the meridian

I have a weird issue with Kstars. I have my CGEMII connected with the Celestron CGEM INDI driver.

Everything works great with go to except when my scope is on an item near the meridian and the simulated time is moved forward. If I move the simulated time in Kstars so that the item my scope is on is very close to the meridian, the mount physically moves and then goes back to the item.
It's like the mount doesn't want to cross the meridian because of a meridian flip. But this shouldn't happen when simulating time.

Has anyone seen anything like this?

So far Astroberry is awesome on the Raspberry Pi4! I VPN into it and can control and capture from there either directly connected to the Raspberry or remotely with local VPN over over the internet. I also was able to control the scope over wifi with SkySafarri and Ekos.
