Hi,

I got a new (portable) mount, the iOptron SmartEQ Pro+. I connected it with ekos through the HC unit and used the INDI ZEQ25 driver to connect as described in indilib.org/devices/mounts/ioptron.html

I updated my location and time in HC, connected to EKOS, but, ekos always show pointing below the horizon, and when I try to go to any star, it always gives an error like the star is below the horizon, even for Polaris.

My questions are:
1. Is there is a specific sequence or configuration that I need to do to use ekos with SMartEQ Pro?
2. Is it possible to connect directly to the mount without the HC as I do with the HEQ5?

I figured out that documentation at indilib.org/devices/mounts/ioptron.html is outdated. There is another driver just for the SmartEQ series called "indi_ieq_telescope". Once I selected this driver/mount, everything worked as expected.
