I have a Rainbow Astro RST-135 mount which I have been using successfuly with ekos on stellarmate - both locally and remotely to a mac. I updated to the most recent versions (3.5.2 and 1.8.9) and now ekos no longer reads the Eq. coordinates from the mount. It shows RA and DEC as 0,0. If I tell the mount to go to a star it points to a somewhat random location and if I park it it parks but ekos doesn't recognize the moves and plate solving doesn't work. I have manually set time to reflect recent switch to daylight savings so I don't think that is the problem although I may have missed something there - I did it in the time and location setting on the hand controller. Any ideas? Pretty much unusable at the moment
After much messing about, unplugging, rebooting etc I think the problem may have been associated with powering the RST-135 from a Pegasus PPBA - when I give it it's own DC adaptor it seems to be fine. Not sure why since the brick feeding the PPBA had plenty of headroom.
