How to enter DEC offset in EQMOD driver?

Hi, community.
I recently got an EQ8 and plan to run it with two side-by-side scopes. Due to the double mount, the DEC axis has an offset of 90 degrees. In the hand controller, I can enter that offset after the home position is found. Is there a similar setting in the INDI EQMOD driver? Has that to be considered at all?

Thank you for helping me with that.

Hello,
i use the EQ8 in the same way, with a side by side set up, but I just moved the DEC housing round by 90 degrees on the mount, then no offset is needed, it’s really simple just remove the saddle and then the four bolts holding the Dec clutch housing, then turn the housing with clutch released by 90 degrees and put the bolts and saddle back.....simples....saves any issue with offsets....
then when you hit Autohome it will be in correct position for side by side bar

Hi Astronerd,
Thank you for this hint. Interesting approach, I didn’t think of that but I will definitely give it a try. Does the direction matter?

Thanks,
