eqmod troubleshooting

I'm just getting set up.  I'm using KStars and Ekos.  This all works on my Mac laptop.  I'm now trying to get this working with an Astroberry setup.  Everything works there except the mount.  Every time I try to connect, the eqmod driver crashes in a loop.  All other devices connect.

I'm looking for where I can find information on the crash.  If I look in syslog, I just see a generic failure message.

Would someone point me to the correct log file for more information?  Or how to troubleshoot the connection from the command line?

Thanks.

Hi
Hit the button 'Logs' on the opening EKOS screen, check e.g. verbose, file, indi and mount.
View the logs by hitting 'Open Logs Directory' on the same screen.

Yes, it helped with the log, so thanks. Unfortunately it only shows that it is crashing.

On my Mac, before Ekos would connect to the mount correctly, I had to set port speed. But that is set in the driver page, and as it is crashing here, I do not have that opportunity. Can I edit this manually before starting?

It's in ~/.indi
For my eq6 it's:
<newSwitchVector device="EQMod Mount" name="DEVICE_BAUD_RATE">
<oneSwitch name="9600">

Best to post logs.
Cheers
