I checked that. Time is running in main kstars window.
When i slew to a star just east of the meridian, time left appears in ekos say 20min.
But it stays at 20min it never counts down.
This is with Stellarmate 1.6.1
I installed the new beta 1.7.0 on a second sd card.
Same behaviour.
On a 3rd sd card i installed version 1.5.1. That version works as it should.
These are all fresh installed cards.
I tested all 3 also with simulators running.
Then it works.
So my conclusion is that it has something to do with the OnStep driver.
I just downloaded the latest EKOS with INDI v1.9.4 and see a similar issue. Numbers in the Mount tab aren't updating as previously, but sometimes randomly update.
Timer on KStars window is working.
I am still looking for the right post but maybe my issue is related. It has been working for me for a very long time, even 3.5.6 latest Build 2021-11-15T03:35:27Z
New setting last night, enabled "Fast Exposure" why? Because I use remote connectivity of Kstars and it takes about 10 to 15 secs to download to my remote computer. My preference is due to "Live Stacking" for streaming.
After enabling, as the Meridian flip approaches, it states "Waiting for Meridian Flip".
I went outside to check the mount but it kept taking images (DSLR clicking away).
Went back inside still said "Waiting for Meridian Flip"
I paused imaging, no go!
I stopped imaging, it immediately started to flip.
I then restarted the session. It crashed after that so I haven't gone back to check the issue.
Maybe it is related, I do not know, just at least I know what is the cause. I will check it tonight again.
Yes the issue is still there with Beta 1.7.0. with fresh sd card
I also checked 1.6.1 with fresh sd card. Problem is there also.
The only version that's working right is 1.5.5
Not fresh SD card, I just pushed an update today (so update everything after fresh installation). It could be OnStep issue if the count-down works with other mounts?
