EQMod driver in StellarMate OS 1.7.4

I just upgraded to the latest updates (via the SM OS SM tools).
Now, my mount slews the opposite direction than what it should and in the INDI control panel , the Reverse indicator is on in the Motion Control tab fpr EQMOD... and even selecting the E/W & N/S doesn't change the behavior.

I had this issue with a previous update of SM, and it ended up being an apparent borked EQMod driver.
Anyone else having this issue?
Mount is an EQ6-R Pro.

Date and time is correct and the location is correct.

I have spent the last 6 hours working with this... and even went so far as to reset the StellarMate OS from the tools and reconfigure everything. The ONLY thing I haven't tried (and really don't want to but may end up having to) is reinstall StellarMate1.73 and see if that works. Pretty sure it will as I have another RPi set up and it is slewing correctly, but it's used on another mount.

In the mount, the time seems to be set correctly also.

Has anyone else had issues with this latest update?

Have not had sufficient clear sky (pure overcast for about last week until today) to get out and see if the 1.7.2 install will make a difference.
I now have a card with it and 1.7.4 on it.... and my issue may have been the fact that I was plate solving near the celestial pole... but wont' be to confirm that until I can get the rig back out.

Thank you for the reply, Tracy. Same to me, I couldnt test it till now, because we have clouds and fog for some weeks now and will stay over christmas... :-(. Perhaps you can give feedback if you can test it in the meantime. Thank you.

My issue was resolved after I started doing the below.

Start of night, point scope at celestial pole. Turn mount on, turn on the RPI and load up my optical train.
Unpark scope.
Choose a star away from the celestial pole in KStars.
Mount reliably slews to that location.
Plate solve for the star.
Began my captures for the night.
End of night, park mount once more.
