Screen resolution

Dear all,
Is there an "easy" way to change the screen resolution? I want to use VNC with a 1366x768 laptop.
I think I need mode 39.
I read the posts from Wouter, but reading the config.txt I came to the conclusion that changing that was far to complex for me - all those parameters.
I don't want to screwup my system ;-)
Cheers

You could try xrandr instead. Just make sure it is executed when the desktop gets started by putting an executable .xrandr (mind the dot at the start of the file name!!!) file in your home directory.

Go to terminal, type
Sudo raspi-config
The choose option 5 I think it’s advanced settings
Then click resolution and change it there...
If the one you want is not there then the config.text file has a section in it where it says for force a resolution, just uncomment that and put the res you want in there... :)
