Problem with app connecting to Stellarmate

Problem with app connecting to Stellarmate was created by Martin

I just updated the app for IOS. I am connected to the Stellarmate Hot Spot on my iPhone. When I try and connected I just get this and it never connects. Can someone help?

Equipment: Skywatcher HEQ5 - Stellarvue 80mm access - Canon 6D (unmodified) - Stellarvue 50mm Guide Scope - ZWO ASI290MM Mini - Rasp Pi4

Could be worth a try to delete the stellarmate entry (trash icon at lower left), and then rescan (upper right). Been a while since I used the phone app, but this used to work for me when it would get stuck like that.

Ok, how about disconnecting any/all your USB cables (especially any USB3), wait for a minute, then try again. If that doesn't work, power cycle your Pi4 and wait for the hotspot again. You could also try to connect with a PC (vnc) as opposed to the phone app, or try to go PC direct via hardwire ethernet....
