How about it?
A command line interface to start Ekos scheduler, passing a schedule file and the other options to start the scheduler.
Why would I like it?
I run indi, kstars and ekos all on one i5 PC sitting in my observatory. This PC is normally switched off and I have a raspberryPi always-on that acts as an ssh jump-host.
Currently, I ssh to the RPI, wakeonlan the i5-PC then remote desktop, manually start kstars & Ekos.
It would be great if the RPI could decide to wake the PC and start the scheduler by itself.
Advantages
Fully autonomous operation would be possible.
Ability to take advantage of changeable, un-forecastable weather ( Like Ireland, where the sky can suddenly clear at 3am for 1 or 2 hours )
I think the org.kde.kstars.Ekos.Scheduler does not have many functions exposed to dbus.
Am I looking at the right thing here?
Would be nice to have a method that takes an argument for the full path to an esl file.
And another method to start the scheduler.
