I own an Optec Pyxis Camera Field Rotator,

Are there plans to support this in indi?

Enclosed is the technical manual (4.3 communications Protocol)

Once I added support to the Nightcrawler rotator I'll add in this as well. I'll let you know when you can test something.

In fact I was working on Rotators yesterday (just finished my EQ8 setup literally two days ago). So in a week or two, the rotators shall be integrated nicely with Ekos in both the capture and align modules. In Align module, you can use "Load & Slew" to solve an image, and once it reaches the target, it can even automatically rotate the camera to exactly match the orientation of the input image.

Stay tuned!

Oh okay, this is a different rotator from Optec Gemini, I confused the two. So yeah a new INDI driver must be developed for this. I assume you have the rotator? If yes, I need remote access to it to develop the driver.

Yes I have this rotator.

How am I to make it accessible to you? What do you need exactly?
