I think this is something that would help anyone running a remote observatory.
Have a tab in Ekos where you can see an animation of of a 3D model of your mount, as in the direction of the mount ~up/down etc...

I thought about a this a couple of years ago but it is not easy and requires a fully dedicated project and time. Maybe GSoC for next year?

Although most users would prefer relying on a webcam for security, I double this. With the additional ability to force a meridian flip in advance to avoid disturbing an exposure please!
