I have a ioptron CEM40 with a 8407+ controller trying to use a RP4 with Stellarmate installed. Any idea when the 8407+ will be included in the INDI database of equipment?

Tried that one first and got no response. Bought the ioptron second hand from a friend. Don't think the CEM40 came with that controller. I'll try others and post what I find out.

You don't connect the CEM40 via the handset. You connect it via the usb port on the mount labeled USB. You need an USB 2.0 A to B cable.
www.ioptron.com/v/Manuals/7400_CEM40_Manual.pdf

Be sure to select correct device and BAUD rate in the driver. (maybe CEM40 uses different baud rate? Only have a cem60 so can't be sure)

And yes that mount comes with an 8407+ controller. (You don't need a controller to operate the mount from a computer), but both can be connected at thes same time (at least with the CEM60) The computer port on the handset is used for firmware updates.
