Hi folks,

I hope every body is healthy.

I just received the SV305Pro sample today.

Sorry Tom, but as far as I can tell, it works like my SV305 on my linux laptop (Thinkpad X280, Ubuntu 18.04 amd64) with Ekos/INDI.
No issues yet. I will look forward this week-end.

I can reach 55fps fullframe in 12 bits and 112fps in 8 bits with Ekos.

Could you please give me some more details on your computer setup ?

SVBony also sent me a Mac OS firmware.
I will work on it. I don't have a Mac, any body volunteer for testing ?

Best regards, stay healthy and happy new year.

Blaise

Blaise,

Great news from your hand.
Have you tried it with a raspberry pi (astroberry)? Does the SV-305Pro work well on it?

I'm sorry but I can't help you with the apple ... I only have linux.

Have a nice New Year to everybody,
Pep

My SV305 pro issue is when connecting in Raspberry pi 4B 4GB. Since you already tested it well in Linux. Could it be the ARM SDK related issue?

Hi,

I just pushed the last libsv305 version, including the last SVBony SDK.
The SDK history is not well documented, but it should fix some camera hanging issues.

@Tom I hope it will fix your camera.

Best regards

Hi,

The looping issue still occurred in Raspberry pi even after update the latest SDK. So, at this point, SV305 pro is temp useless in RPI4 for guiding (PHD2 and Kstars). But using AstroDMx is fine.

Hope you can take a look.

Thanks.

I'm running driver Version 1.2.2 on Astroberry/PI4/Kstars. This appears to be the latest build according to APT installer for Indi-sv305. Live Video is crashing INDI driver with the SVBONY 305 Pro every time it is executed. Thanks and please let me know if I can provide any more detail, hopefully there is a new driver version available to help resolve. Currently using AstroDMX without issues.

Hello,

I just pushed the Mac OS 64 libraries in my repo (github.com/thx8411/indi-3rdparty).
But I'm Apple agnostic. I don't have any device to test it.

Raspberry/SV305 Pro issues : could you please enable the debug log level and send me your logs by MP ?

Thanks and best regards,

Thx8411

I can do the debug for Raspberry this week and send the logs. Can you clarify "MP?" Sorry, not tracking the acronym.

Sorry, my fault. French habit "Message Privé" = "Private Message".
Or just attach your log file to your post in the topic.

Just a word of note regarding PM's on this Forum.... The Forum software does not alert or notify when you have a PM (or MP) waiting. You have to physically go to "Profile" and then click Private Messages to see if there are any and to respond.

This has caught more than a few unaware in recent memory.
