.... no idea what to say. What is different in your setup? Is it because my horizon is only a small part, and not all around?

I dunno ... maybe a different projection?

At any rate it's just eye candy until the Ekos Scheduler can see it.

It is something in kstarsrc. If I remove that, i.e., start from scratch, the horizon map stays in place relative to the horizon. Guess I'll have to step through all settings to locate the culprit :-/

Is there a limit of points per polygon? I entered 360 + 36 points and the next time, only part of them were saved.

According to Fenriques earlier in this thread, limit your points to 255.

I have a program to take your 360 points and spit out a csv file that will work. Send me your horizon file and I'll send you back a csv file you can import into kstars.

Close miss. It actually is the view type. Horizontal - and it works; set it to Equatorial (SPACE) and the artificial horizon rotates with the stars...
