Hi,

It would be great to had a reticle option to the fits viewer. It will help to center a star when you are doing a polar alignment for example.

Jasem, can you make a polar alignment tutorial? I'm following the tutorial on indilib website but it's not as simple as it seems. I practice with the simulator (ccd and telescop) but I'm not sure if it is possible. Where are the virtual knobs of the virtual mount ?

Good night.

Sébastien.

You get a reticle if you double click anywhere in the image. I'll make a tutorial once my observatory is complete.

Nice hidden feature. The reticle appears green on a mostly black image and thus a bit difficult to notice. What about an inverted image display or an option to set reticule color?

Nice hidden feature as you said Klaus.
My reticle appears red. I imagine there is an option somewhere to change the color.

But this is not exactly what I expect. When I said a reticle, I imagine 2 cross lines that materialize the center of the frame to make easier the position of a star when you realise a polar alignment.
You see what I mean ?

I see what you mean.

BTW: The reticule color can be set in Kstars -> Configue -> Colors -> Target Indicator. Found that after reding your last post.

Anyway, inverted image would still be nice.
