Well thanks to anyone who looked at this and I'm assuming couldn't reproduce it.
Due to the current inability to procure a spare Rpi4 to try out various 64-bit flavors of Linux, I decided
to use this Rpi4 as my observatory controller. I am awaiting delivery of a Beelink Ryzan 7 miniPC
that I will put Kubuntu 22.04 on to get back to Kstars/Ekos.
