Hi,

im tring to put to work the Orion Starshoot AutoGuider Pro camaera on INDI (StellarMate) for guide, the first test show the mesage like: cam not detected, turn on?, I look on the web and find the following resources:

This tells that this family (only the basic?) it´s suported:
github.com/OpenPHDGuiding/phd2/wiki/CameraSupport

I follow that procedure,
github.com/OpenPHDGuiding/phd2/issues/496

changing the ID that lsusb comand give me for the camera that its diferent...
I add this lines to 85-qhy.rules
ATTRS{idVendor}=="16c0", ATTRS{idProduct}=="29a2", RUN+="/sbin/fxload -t fx2 -I /lib/firmware/qhy/QHY5.HEX -D $env{DEVNAME} -s /lib/firmware/qhy/QHY5LOADER.HEX"

right now when I chosse the QHY5 in PHD2 or QHYCCD in KStars, it looks like the cam is working, But i cant get images from that...

some ideas of what can i do?

Hi,

I have a problem whit the slew and track functions of the KStars whit this telescope, I chose for example Jupiter click on slew and the telescope does not reach the planet, and the red dot on KStars neither, (the red dot looks like pointing acording to the telescope position) for a long distance like 30 degrees, is like the problem is some missing configuration, latitude or something, but the observation site looks correct, what could be?

We dont have OS X available. We want use Linux 16.04 LTS to control the camera canon T6i and a Meade telescope. So far we have been able to control the telescope, but the camera is not reachable yet. A further step will be to have all controls though a raspberry pi, but we need to be able to control the canon dslr.

We managed to get a different problem (not sure it is an error yet). Here I attached two screenshots and a log file on the start up of the Kstars control system.

The camera has a full battery, it is in manual mode, no other software is being used or is loaded, darktable was used to test the camera and got pictures, console commands were able to take photos too.
