Hi jasem. I thought you were talking about a different calibration tab. I had that enabled. What I found was the flip flat will not work with my zwo120 mini guide scope. It's one of the other but I need the guide scope so it's back to doing it manually.
Thanks anyway

hi. i have been using the flip flat just as a flat panel but went ahead and attached it today.
did a test job run with lights flats and darks .
is there a way to automate the device so it closes and turns on the light for the flats
and turns off for the darks.
the rest of the process is automated but it looks like i am still going to manually do the
flats and darks.
if i cant be automated i will remove it and just do like i have been by setting it on the
telescope pointing up and putting a weight on it to hold it in place.
or is this a script thing that needs to be done in the scheduler.
thanks if anyone can help out with this.

Hi. I notice on your screen shot of the CCD simulator tab that xisf is an option. This is not available with the latest version I downloaded again last night . I suppose it's not in the qhy driver. It's a shame because it's one of the reasons I started this whole upgrade route along with the improved focus options.

Hi. The problem started when I installed the latest version of kstars .
It was a perfectly working setup but auto focus was unreliable so I thought I would give the new focussing routines a go. For some reason I couldn't install the latest version . I upgraded my Linux Mint to Vanessa and while I was at it I formatted the drive with LVM. Following the upgrade the latest version of kstars installed but would only save the images on the main drive as a .bin file. These files were screen shots of the kstars desktop . Very weird. So after a new install of kstars on a standard Linux partition it now works as it should with only four days of grief. Now it's cloudy and rainy. Still trying to see if it was worth the trouble . Hope the focus module works better than the old version .

hi. the driver in indi does not appear to be the correct one for the pyxis gen 3 rotator.
i know the rotator works in windows, and in APT. but in ekos it only shows the serial connection
and no ethernet option.
when conect button is pressed the text field shows pyxis is disconected.
is there a pyxis gen 3 driver available.
what rotators are others using.
this is the second rotator i have spent large amounts of money on and find its not
supported. not happy
thanks.

hi all. i hope everyone is safe and well. i was looking for some help with my pyxis rotator 2" gen 3.
i am using linux mint , and a remote raspberry pi 4 .the pyxis driver dosn't seem to be the correct one.
the rotator works fine in win10. i found an old drive with the win10 os installed and its all good
both serial connection and the ethernet connection work.
with the indi driver there is no ethernet tab and ekos insists that the rotator isnt connected.
i did the serial port assistant and that worked but when i start ekos there is only usb0.
hoping someone can assist. i really dont want to abandon stellarmate and linux and go backwards
to win10 and all those other programmes. thanks
