VERY confused. Why not show magnitying glass and only disable "Auto focus" and let do manual focusing with HRF minimazing.
Just like in VNC connection ?

Hi.
I have Astromechanics CanonEF focuser and Tamron 150-600 G2. Connection is OK ! Apperture change OK! But ....
Now I ask if somebody could say what are good step values for focuser in Stellarmate.
There are two places where you can make adjust: 1) focuser settings and 2) in focusing process.
What are
a) relativ position
b) absolute position
c) max position
and
d) initial step size
e) max step size
f) max travel
When I try autofocusing I don't get good v-curve at all. HFR values jumping zig-zag without any v- or u-curve.

ps. I tried also N.I.N.A and ascom driver for that combination do not work.

Is it possible use Ekos autofocus to do manual focusing.
Ekos calculates sharpnes value and user makes the correction
based on the calculated result. I haven't tested this yet.
If not, this could be a nice solution for taking sharper pictures.
