When connecting my AVX to the pi I get the following error:
2021-08-24T22:26:15: [ERROR] Failed to connect to port (/dev/ttyUSB0). Error: Port failure Error: No such file or directory. Check if device is connected to this port.

Checked and it's using nexstarusb driver. Checked cable with windows and it's working. Moved the AVX to another USB on the pi. Rebooted appropriately.

I ran into this with my 5se but can't remember what I did to remedy it.

Oh actually reading the readme actually worked.

I’m having an issues getting mine going. I mirror my install on a netbook and on RPi. Everything was installed a week or so ago. I’ve had the v4l2 working on both. Rpi ccd works (poorly) and netbooks screen cam streams.
Running Ubuntu mate 19
Installed indi full

Neximage shows up running lsusb as in your example. It does not show up under /dev/video1 (video0 are other cams). Disabled the ccd on rpi off in bios on the netbook and rebooted but no joy.

All kinds of issues trying follow through the TIS instructions. Dependency not installing and files missing errors all over the place.

I have the same issue and tried all of the suggestions following through from the beginning. Camera works fine with gphoto2.

With the exception of the camera name the logs are identical. The behavior is identical using gphotoccd or the canon dslr.
