When I set up a -20 degree setpoint for the camera, it got to it once. The temp changes by approximately 10 deg and stays at -9. Has anyone had this problem?

I’ve had StellarMate running earlier today and updated software. This was successful and I was able to to use vpn viewer and Kstars on my iPad to connect and control my setup. However, I get connection errors when I use Kstars on my Mac. Now all of a sudden my StellarMate app cannot find my StellarMate after repeated rescans. Very frustrating when StellarMate has worked great in the past. I run StellarMate from my home network.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks. The firmware is up to date. I did find out I had a corrupted file on the raspberry Pi. I did an update from VNC Viewer and that fixed my problems. I did have more than one. Thanks again, I'm up and running.

Firstly my setup is as follows: Pegasus UPB w/ZWO camera in first USB port. The UPB is then connected to stellarmate by way of the PC USB? The focus output of the UPB is connected to Robofocus stepper. Everything works and can be controlled only with the stellarmate app or vnc viewer. When I try it with kstars on my mac I get a connection error as follows " 2020-10-18T23:11:42: [ERROR] Failed to connect to port (/dev/cu.usbserial). Error: Port failure Error: No such file or directory. Check if device is connected to this port. " The UPB will not connect.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I'm running version 1.4.4 for Pi4. I'll have to leave it till I get back from my trip to California. I decided to purchase the StellarMate kit from OPT and it should be here when I get back. I will still try to get StellarMate to run on the Pi4 Board. Not giving up yet.

I start the app and sign in using my wifi network. When I get the registration page I change the wifi to get stellarmate and hit rescan. Stellarmate shows on the left side of the screen and when I press stellarmate, I get the registration again. When I Register again it brings me back to the sign in screen which runs until it times out.

Tried to connect to the Evolution Mount so I started StellarMate app and scanned for Stellarmate. Found it with no problem and Authenticate was on the right side. I was asked for my user name and password, entered both and it said connecting to StellarMate. It did this for a while and then brought me back to the sign in screen. Nothing I do will let me into StellarMate.

The mount generates it's own WiFi, so yes it's a Hot Spot. If StellarMate and the mount generate their own Hot Spots, how could I connect to it.

I recently loaded StellarMate OS for a RPi 4. iPad finds StellarMate and all looks good. I then pick Nexstar Evolution from the mount dropdown and proceed to connect but it runs forever without connecting. I'm trying this with the mounts Wifi. Can anyone shed a light on this problem. New to Raspberry Pi. Most of my experience is with Arduino's.

Regards,
Tom
