I FIXED IT!!!! That's how loud I wanted to yell it through my whole house but my kids a sleeping so I'll yell it here. I FIXED IT!!! Long story short on the ZWO electronic filter wheel I had screwed in one of the adapters to tight and it was prohibiting the filter wheel from spinning. The second I removed the physical obtrusion everything started working. I was testing this on my windows laptop with the ASI software and when I saw that nothing I did on my windows laptop would spin the wheel I knew the problem was something different then an issue with Linux. So I started investigating. I do appreciate every ones time in reading this thread and especially to KNRO for being so prompt with your reply. If anything changes I'll be sure to write. Thank you all!!!

Apparently every time I tell EKOS to connect to my ZWO electronic filter wheel it crashes EKOS/Kstars. I can connect to all other devices just fine but when I add the filter wheel the whole program shuts down. I attached a log from EKOS. Any help is greatly appreciated!
