Any news on when indi-full will be ready to install?
Indi-bin doesn’t seem to have all the drivers?
I figured all would be ready for 22.04 if I left it a month?
Or should I just go back to 21.10?
It definitely does not install properly on Ubuntu mate 22.04
It keeps saying it’s missing libindidriver1
Hi Jasem, I've installed the latest QHYCCD SDK and its detected the camera now.

Thanks in Advance, Darren
Hi all, is anyone using the QHY268M camera?
My PC can’t seem to find mine.
I wasn’t sure the camera was working as it’s new, so I installed the drivers and NINA on another PC just to test the camera works ok, which it does?
is there anything I need to do or install for my AstroPC to detect it.
I've put a request in on the INDI github page for the driver alteration for FocusABSPosN from 200,000 to 2,000,000, will see what happens?
the max position is FocusMaxPosN.value = 2097152; so not sure why someone set the max focus position to 200000 anyway?
FocusRelPosN.min = 0.;
FocusRelPosN.max = 50000.;
FocusRelPosN.value = 0;
FocusRelPosN.step = 1000;
FocusAbsPosN.min = 0.;
FocusAbsPosN.max = 200000.;
FocusAbsPosN.value = 0;
FocusAbsPosN.step = 1000;
FocusMaxPosN.value = 2097152;
Hi all, is there any way of getting a driver altered or altering/making my own driver?
I use a RASA with a sesto senso Focuser, KStars will let me enter a max focuser steps/position of 200,000.
My focus position in my RASA is around 900,000 to 1,100,000, therefore I'm royally screwed.
The 200,000 limit needs another Zero to 2 million.
I asked this question last year, but got no real solution, is there anyway around this issue, or should I just use NINA/SGP?,
I'd rather not use either but Kstars is now useless to me, unless I replace both my £300 Sesto Senso Focusers with some cheaper ones that don't use the 10:1 Microfocuser
this was never an issue the year before last, I've been using kstars for 4 or more years, the issue was introduced in a driver INDI update sometime last year.
Thanks in advance, Darren.
Hi, thanks, I tried those drivers, they're not recognised. I just get an error message onscreen
The driver on my system is much smaller at 43k
No worries, thanks anyway, I'll hit google to learn how to compile indi drivers tomorrow.
be handy to know,
I've only ever compiled 1 program, it's a skill i should learn anyway
Hi, sorry, my system doesn't recognise the driver.
here are my 64bit driver files if you can edit them?
No worries if not, thanks for your help.
OMG , that's very generous of you to spend some of your time on it,
Thanks very much.
Hi, Thanks for the driver, I just tried it, but my OS is 64Bit Ubuntu, so it didn't work, what software do you use edit the driver files?
Yep, I have no idea where the middle is,
when using the focus routine it doesn't give you any numbers, so you have no idea how far its moved,
I used to be able to set the focus position above 200,000
I've definately manually entered 1,000,000 on a earlier version of kstars
I've been using my scopes with Kstars for over a year without this focus limit problem
this is a new problem after the last Kstars Update
I suppose I could try and downgrade Kstars.
I'll google how to do it.
Thanks for the help everyone,
I'll update if I find a fix that works.
Anyone know how to edit/build/install INDI Drivers pinch.pngsmile.png
