Hello all. I'm very new to Indi as previously my camera was unsupported but has recently showed up on the supported list with libgphoto2. According to their site, live view is supported but when I attempt to enable it within Indi, I get a warning and error that say:
[Warning] View finder widget is not found. Cannot force camera mirror to go up!
[Error] Failed to start streaming

My camera is mirrorless so I can see why the error is being presented but how can I disable operation of a mirror?

I'm trying this from within a Raspberry Pi running StellarMate OS (1.8.1). I can capture images and transfer them but no live view.

Thank you all!

How to Connect Cricut to iPad: A Comprehensive Guide – Cricut Machine Set up

Learn how to connect Cricut to iPad in this blog post. Also, learn how to download and install Cricut Design Space software on your iPad…

I'm using Skywave (SKW) collimator to precisely collimate my 8" RC. In order to do so it is important that I capture a sequence of 9 defocused stars. 1 in the centre of the frame and the other 8 distributed around it in a circle. (see attached image)
nOuJZRoY

Someone in the SKW community has created an excellsheet that easily converts to a N.I.N,A script to automate the entire process.
The user navigates to an acceptable star and focusses the image.
The scrip then offsets the focus by a fixed amount (SKW tells the user what the ideal defocus should be and if it's Intra- or extrafocus).
The script then takes all 9 images slewing to the new position after taking an image.
It ends by offsetting the focus back to ideal position.

I'm wondering what would be the best way for me to achieve a similar result in EKOS.
Since collimating with the software is an iterative process, anything I can do to speed it up and make it more consistent would help me greatly.

The excel sheet to calculate the locations of the off-centre stars is originally hosted on the innovationsforeseight website (www.innovationsforesight.com/support/skg...umentation_tutorial/)
But since the link doesn't work for me today, I've added a download link of my own.

I checked the driver and there was indeed an issue with interface definitions, I pushed a fix to GIT. Please recompile and let me know if it works.

It looks like the serial port is detected fine, where does it fail exactly to connect? any specific messages?

IIRC, this issue was resolved in a ticket?

Why are you selecting sellarmate if you're not using it? Simply create a new profile (local) and select GPhoto CCD along with the rest of the equipment. Not sure if that will work, depends on whether libgphoto2 supports your particular model over PTP

There always been focus controls for Canon DSLR but I never found them to be particularly reliable or useful. I don't believe anyone was able to run autofocus with Canon DSLR as the focuser but I could be wrong.

This is done in the Capture module, not scheduler. If you select Flip Flat as the cover + light source in your optical train then the process is automatic when you capture flat frames. Ekos controls the exposure time and not the brightness level. You can however configure different brightness levels per filter, so when INDI detects a filter change, it would alter the brightness level applied.

Should be supported with INDI v2.0.7 and KStars 3.7.0 coming next week.

If you have different gear, then belong into a separate profile with their own OTs. If you creating more than 3 trains, I'd say your setup is unnecessarily complicated. You can easily swap the OTAs in the trains, but if the gear is different, it is best to dedicate a different profile to them.

Ideally, the Mount Control Panel should appear directly below the button in Ekos. Controlling window position depends on the desktop environment and with Raspberry PI OS , I don't think there is support for forcing specific window location (unlike KDE which provides this capability). However, unless your resolution is small, it shouldn't randomly place the window at the corner.

That's the wrong URL, the correct one is stellarmate.local:6080

You can also use RealVNC to connect, it is faster than WebVNC.

Hello guys, i finally did a manual with all steps necesary to put your weather radio to work, updated to the last phyton3 and new dependencies and libraries.

1º) First off all you need to install an apache web server on the machine where its installed kstars and indi runin with the weather radio driver, can you follow the manual i attach here: "Apacheweb server.txt"
2º) Second start indi and weather radio and select sensors you want to monitor, like my exaplme i only have the DHT22, see image attached
3º) Follow the "WeatherRadio Web Interface.txt" file i attachh too with all instructions updated to configure weather radio web interface.

If some problem o question, please replay here.

Thanks to @RAFAEL SCHLEGEL, @WOLFGANG REISSENBERGER and @GILLES GAGNON for your replays in other topics, i finally found the way to write a update manual to configure, set up and run web interface.

I wonder if it's something caused by the default east meridian limit setting that Cuive noted in his video on the WarpAstron WD-20 youtu.be/SsbazQerH8g. at 15:40 into the video?

Since I've switched back to using "independent windows" everywhere, I haven't had an issue (even before 14.4.1).
