In 2017, the user timsdeepsky fixed (i think) the same problem. This was his answer:
This I resolved by purging Kstars bleeding, and then reinstalling Kstars bleeding....It just started working perfectly after that....
He didn't use a windows computer, I do, and frankly, I don't know what this solution means. Can someone help me with this answer?
