Hello
I try to control a 10micron GM4000 from Indi but it continually returns me that it is below the horizon.
The time and location are fine, no GPS, I have looked at the limits of the mount, also if Kstars or mount has control I have also tried .....
What am I doing wrong?

Grateful

Hello

I have already solved the problems, I put it here in case someone helps you.

They were several failures together.

The first two errors seem to correspond to the following
I have used a USB RS232 type FTDI adapter that for some reason seems to introduce noise, check connections, connectors and everything was fine, but with another Moxa type adapter it works correctly.

The other two caveats ...
the error with the coordinates, I put in the kstars configuration that the mount configure the software and everything solved ..

The last errors do not come out either, I guess it is a consequence of previous ones.

Long live the LX200 Classic

Alex

Hello

I need help I am configuring a LX200 10 "classic with Kstars + Ekos + Indi updated to the latest version.
I have tested it on different machines, astroberry and Mint 20.04. Both give a similar error, it detects the telescope well but when I want to make a track from kstars it gives an error. From the control panel it does the goto well.
The telescope icon always stays at the coordinates below the horizon:
JNow: 23h 57m 52s -00 ° 14 '00 "
J2000: 23h 57m 52s -00 ° 14 '00 "
AzAlt: 357 ° 42 '58 "-46 ° 57' 12"

this is the debug capture :

Yes, and it communicates correctly.

The problem is that if it locates an object from SysScan, for example M51, it does not display the same position in Kstars.
This week I will do more tests and comment on the results.

Thank You

Thank You Avocette
I needed to confirm the correct driver for this mount.
I will look for what is the problem that Kstars does not represent correctly the coordinates of the Synscan.

Very thankful

Hello

I am starting up a pi 4 2gb Ram on distro astroberry 2.0.2, I want to put two monitors.

Here is a question, it only detects me and the main screen works, when I run the screen configuration it only detects the main monitor and not as HDMI 0 it sees it as Default and does not allow anything to be done with the second monitor.

Another question, I have a Skywatcher AZEQ5 connected to the pi4 through the USB 2.0 port, it only works for me with the EQMod driver, but it does not indicate the real coordinates of the telescope in the Kstars planetarium, am I using the correct driver for this mount? If it is adequate, do I have to configure something else in the INDI panel?

thank you
