Thanks for reply Wouter.
I have discovered it too, however it does work only in the StellarSolver test application and not in EKOS. See attached screenshots, are your settings in EKOS the same?

Hello,
Recently I am struggling a lot with KStars/EKOS 3.5.0 plate solving. I tested plate solve on a few images from previous sessions and in some cases it failed, but in many other cases I was able to get results in like 0.2s (which is AWESOME ). So I tried to plate solve the failed images using nova.astrometry.net and it worked fine. The issue is that in the field I was not able to plate solve ANY image and it ruined my session completely (which is frustrating even more because it was the first clear night since beginning of December).
nova.astrometry.net/status/4158413
nova.astrometry.net/user_images/4299132
Also, when I process the files from command line using astrometry it works too, however I had to remove some of the parameters which seem to restrict solving to e.g. some area - I do not know why the parameters are set:

Hello,
Can someone please explain which scope should be selected in the scope dropdown (see the screenshot)? I noticed that when I select Guide scope (200mm focal length connected to ASI 120MM) then I get better (smaller) guiding error and less corrections than when I set it to the Primary Scope (430mm). When I set it to Primary Scope I often get error around 0.5" which I think is a pretty good result. So, does it make any senseĀ or perhaps it is just a coincidence related to different polar align or balancing the setup (which in my case can vary from night to night, although I do my best to do it as precise as possible) or indeed it is related to the scope setting?
Thanks
Karol
