Thanks Jasem, I'll have a go. This could be a hardware issue happening simultaniously to the update. I'll revert to stable and retest

I've recently updated KStars/Indi (running via stallarmate). KStars was removed int he process so I've manually installed the nightly build. The QHY driver no longer recognises my QHY268m (which worked previously).

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance

I'm running kstars on a stellarmate os rpi. I have 10 micron connected via ethernet and mgbox2 circuit to the mount. I control the rpi via hotspot using vnc on my MacBook. I run this not connected to the internet as I image from remote sites.

I have set mount updates kstars and it seems to work fine.

However I really want kstars to also update the rpi system date and time from the mount data. Not because of any tracking issues but just to get my images saved with the right date and time. I save directly to a usb ssd connected to the rpi.

I previously configured chrony to update rpi date and time from a separate gps dongle (before I got my 10m & mgbox). So it must be possible.

Any ideas?

Looking for a way to update rpi system time automatically from the mount time.

Using 10 micron with mgbox2. Kstars updates date, time and location no problem.

However rpi systrm date and time stays incorrect which means all my image files have the wrong (actually the same wrong) date and time.

I previously used chrony to update rpi date and time from gps. However I have removed the dongle since the mount has it's own gps source.

Kstars has this data. Can it be used as a source for chrony?

Alternatively can the mount (connected by ethernet) be the source for chrony?

Thanks
