Good morning
since a few night I cannot longer use Ekos, it keeps crashing on connections of devices
Local installation of Ekos 3.6.2 on Win10 connects to Stellarmate 1.7.4

I have been able to determine crash is due to camera driver loading
I have a Camera 1: ZWO CCD (Zwo Asi 533)
Camera 2: ZWO Camera 1 (Zwo Asi 120mm)

I have been able to grab a screenshot before the crash and it shows a "ghost camera" that I do not have

If I remove either one from the configuation ekos loads but I do not have either the guide or the main CCD
I tried to remove and reinstall but as the profiles where there after reinstall I guess the install was not clean
I also tried to reinstall Stellarmate from fresh image but that did not solve either

Any clue/suggestion?

I am new to the forum, just moved from Windows setup to Ekos/Stellarmate/Indi world

I have found out that my guide camera ASI 120 MM usb 2.0 despite being recognized does not work due to non standard handling of USB protocol

Research pointed me to this forum where I read some succeded flashing the firmware of the camera with a compatibility firmware <strong>asi120mm-compatible.iic</strong> provided by ZWO

The firmware flashing tool is on ZWO web site but the firmware file is no longer there

Does anyone saved a copy and can share? (Or maybe point me to where to download?)

Hello Thanks for pointing that out !!!

I downloaded the file again and .... the content is now changed (from few days ago) and I can see the ASI120MM-compatible.iic is there now
Interesting they did not change the zip file name

Anyway, I now flashed the firmware and I can now confirm that my 120MM now works and acquires images correctly!!!!
Looking toward good weather now.

New to the forum and to Indy

I recently moved my setup to Stellarmate/Ekos.
I found that my guide camera, despite being recognized, does not work under Ekos due to the specific non standard setup of USB
The camera still works fine under Windows.

Research points to this forum where some people flashed the camera firmware with a different firmware provided by ZWO (asi120mm-compatible.iic)

Now, the flashing tool is still on ZWO web site, but the firmware is no longer there (at least I am unable to find)

Does anyone have a copy ? where can I download it ?
