I'm getting 2 out of 3 GPS readings correctly in the INDI Control Panel from GPSD.
1) Lat = Great
2) Lon = a number off the charts . . .242.XX.XX invalid Longitude reading.
3) Elevation = Great
If I go to the terminal and type gpsmon, it's perfect! I see the correct Longitude reading of -117.XX.XX
Does anyone know why I'm getting an invalid Longitude reading in the INDI control panel?
I'm expecting to see -117 for Longitude and I'm seeing 242

I just started looking at the Astroberry and after reading your thread this makes a lot of sense to move towards a 64 BIT OS. I'm sure after I see my first crash in 32bit, I'll be back here installing ubuntu. As we all know AP is so fragile and taking out the OS as a problem is a huge help. Thanks for posting this.

I started it up and changed the filter wheel to all eight positions. Like I said on my 7 position, it errors out on #8 , but regains after it times out.
Does this tell you anything?

IDK, you would think there are plans? My QHYCFW3 pulled up 8 positions and I only have 7 positions on my 1.25" filter wheel. Maybe the larger QHYCFW3 has 8 positions?

OK I received a reply from QHY Support. This fixed the problem.
On the QHYCFW3, there is a USB switch you need to turn on to use as a stand alone filter wheel.

Before when I booted it up the LED color lights would flash and the last light lit was GREEN, indicating this is NOT the USB mode.
After I took a pin and pushed the button while the power was connected, it switched to the USB Mode. And now the last LED light flash is RED meaning it's in USB Mode.
Works great in KSTARS/EKOS now.
One note is it shows 8 POSITIONS on the filter wheel. Since the QHYCFW3 has 7 positions then it will error out and stop working if you select position 8. But it times out after awhile and all is good again!

Same results here. The QHYCFW3 gives me the same error message "Firmware must be higher than" .
I sent a support request to QHY to see if they could help. Firmware update? No answer yet.
Did you find a solution to get the QHYCFW3 to work in KSTARS?

I can connect using QHYCFW2 but I can't spin the filter wheel.
The whole reason I purchased a QHYCFW3 is because KSTARS showed it supported all three versions. Big bummer if QHYCFW3 doesn't work in KSTARS.

I'm using a standalone QHYCFW3, I have a different camera. I cannot get the QHYCFW3 to work independently. It comes up with an error:

Has anyone successfully used the QHYCFW3 as a standalone in KSTARS?
My KSTARS version is:

During my testing, I have CCD Simulator, Guide Simulator (Bare minimum requirements), and the QHYCFW3 connected as the only piece of hardware.
I couldn't find a firmware update.
Any suggestions?
