Hello! I have a Bresser 80/400 automatik telescope. It is the same mount used by National Geographic and Maxvision Goto telescopes. It is very similar to the Bresser MCX but without an equatorial wedge. I can't find the name of the mount but some chinese vendors call it the JOC Goto System.
I asked Bresser and he told me that it was not possible to control this telescope but with the original cable I have been able to verify that it can. If I use the indi driver of the Bresser Exos2 and put the mount in EQ mode I have some errors in ekos but from kstars I can direct the telescope. I have done the test on windows using indi server (with the Bresser Exos2 ascom driver) and it does not give me errors in EQ mode with ekos and kstars.
I would like you to update the indi driver so that there are no errors with ekos, and if possible add the AZ option since these telescopes do not have an equatorial wedge (you have to make it). I would like to control it with Stellarmate.
Thanks and sorry for my English.
Ivan

Hello! I have a Bresser Automatik 80/400 telescope. The mount looks like the Bresser MCX but only has the alt / az option.
I have tried to connect it to the ekos with the Bresser Exos2 drivers and it gets the information but I cannot control it. I have also tried with the meade autostar drivers and it also connects but it gets more errors and I can't control it either. The handbox is the same as the other Bresser telescopes but the firmware is probably different.
I would like you to add compatibility with my telescope.
Sorry for my English.

Thank you so much,

Ivan
