Hello I’m getting a similar issue using a canon dslr and zwo eaf if I plug into my hub indi dosnt see the eaf so I have to plug it into the rpi directly , but then I can image fine but if I try to plate solve or use auto focus I get the repeatedly taking images and failing to parse etc , I want to try this fix to see if it helps but I’m new to this and don’t have a clue how to go about it can you help

So I’m still having issues with ekos , When I take an image using my dslr it works fine, But if I use it for plate solving or auto focusing. As soon as it starts to download the image it crashes back to desktop every time , any help appreciated

My astroberry was working fine , I could plate Slovene using my dslr and every thing was fine until I added an EAF , nowi can take images normally and that’s fine but I can’t plate solve and I can’t autofocus cus it just keeps retrying to take an image and 5e error I get in indi is as shown , I’m out of ideas I have tried , 
1= rebooting in case it’s a port issue
2= changing cables
3= upping my power supply and turning surplus things off in case urs a power issue
4= checking settings although nothing else changed I can’t see any issues in the setting but I don’t really know what I’m looking for 
swapping USB ports etc , I had to plug the eaf directly into the rpi as it would work plugged into my hub
