Hi,
My current setup is composed of a DLSR on a TAL 200k primary scope on EQ6 mount. Attached to the primary scope, a SVBONY 60mm guider with a ZWO 120 mini camera which I intend to use for autoguiding.
My question is: is it essential to have the guider perfectly parallel with the primary scope or can Ekos take care somehow of a possible little offset? Can somebody help me understand what is the difference between plate solving and autoguiding in this context?
Thank you,
Cristian

Hello Peter,
Thanks for your reply. You might have missed that this was about the Android version of Stellarmate. I am aware that the functionality I mentioned is available on the Linux version; I am using it and I find it extremely good.
Cheers,
Cristian

Hi,
I have bought Stellarmate and installed the Android client on my tablet.
I am very impressed on how good this development has been done and would like to congratulate the developers!
There is one thing I would like to suggest as improvement. It would be great to be able to schedule a sequence with multiple targets. Like it is possible in the linux version of Ekos. I mean, it is already possible to add multiple sequences but I cannot indicate different targets. Take X photos of the first target, then slew to another target, plate solve and take another X photos.
Thank you,
Cristian

Hello,
I would like to suggest adding a "Mirror Lock" feature in the "Main Control" tab for Nikon DSLR, as it exists for Canon devices.
Thank you,
Cristian

Honestly, I had initially used the default values and crosschecked that Force Bulb On was On. And I had the same result as described earlier.
Later on, I have upgraded to Indilib 1.9.5. The initial version was the one that came with the Stellarmate version I had downloaded one month ago; I can't say which version it was.
Kind regards,
Cristian

I think that I have found a solution by setting the option "Force BULB" to ON in the Options tab of the DSLR. Gave it a few tries and, so far, it seems to work properly.

Hi Wolfgang,
I have managed to configure and get the log.
From what I see, at the first photo, the log says:
Hi,
I am running the version 1.9.4 of INDI on the latest version of astroberry.
My setup is:
* EQ6 Pro mount
* DSLR Nikon D750 + D4s (tried both): manual mode, bulb.
I have an issue. When I scheduled a serie of photos to be taken, the sequence takes only one photo. Then it says that it is taking the next photo but it doesn't.
Same issue with both cameras. They are put on Manual, bulb. I have tried with default INID settings and both force bulb and not force.
Any help would be appreciated.
Kind regards,
Cristian
