What happens with the RawFrames when option "Substract master DARK frame:" is enabled?
Will the light frames substracted or are they still raw frames?
In other words: when happens substraction? In the resulting stacked frame?

The behaviour is still the same.
I attached the log file. Perhaps this provides more info.

How works the "Test calibration"?
When I hit the button I see one frame is taken and nothing more happens.
I expected that the mount will be moved in the one or other direction.

I'm surprised that you have problems with plate solving in KStars 3.6.6 on Ubuntu.
I follow this thread ~ since beginning but since 4 weeks I'm using a polar wedge and run AZ-GTi in EQ-Mode.
Plate Solving works now perfect and I'm completly excited with AZ-GTi in EQ-Mode.
But perhaps EQ-Mode is the reason why Plate Solvings works so good now.

I will give it a try when it's possible for me again.
One more question: do I have to stop tracking in EKOS when I want to use Simple Guiding in AstraLite?
My workflow is:
1. GoTo and track objects in KStars/EKOS
2. Start LiveStacking in AstraLite

So to connection to IndiServer are open at the same time.
Is this okay?

does this works with Live Stacking, too?
I'm using 0.0.93 and when I start Live Stacking with "Correct mount position.." enabled it always stops after the first frame.
So it is not possible for me to make a series of frames for Live Stacking.

I'm still a beginner in astronomy and inspired by an article in a German online magazine I bougth 2 years ago a Skywatcher AZ-GTi with a Skymax-102 Maksutov.
In the meantime I also a Evoguide 50ED and started with my first deepsky experiences.
First I used astroberry and now I have a Mele Quieter 3Q with Ubuntu-22.04 using Jasem's ppa.
My AZ-GTi is still in AZ mode.

With this equipment I'm very happy because it was good starting point for me and I learnd a lot.
For the moment it would be all I need but I run very often in the tracking problems discribe in AZ-GTI in AZ-mode tracking problems

So I'm thinking about replacing my AZ-GTi against the Star Adventurer GTI.
Now I would like to ask here if this replacement is useful?
