Make sure to turn OFF Daylight Saving (DST) setting in the mount hand set (HC). It must be off at all times.
Make sure to set the meridian flip limit on your mount to at least 3 degrees. Then set the meridian flip limit in your client software (e.g. Ekos) to 2 degrees less than that value. For example, if it is set in the HC as 5 degrees, it should be set in the client software as 3 degrees. This way the client software can command the meridian flip before the mount flips on its own.
Yes! The StarFi adapter can work in Access Point (AP) or Station mode. After you setup your StarFi adapter, connect to the StarFi hotspot, or join StarFi to your existing network:
1. Join StarFi Hotspot: The IP address would be 10.10.100.254
2. Join StarFi to WiFi: You need to find out what IP address was assigned to the StarFi from your router.
In INDI Control Panel, go to the driver tab, then Connection tab, and then click Ethernet button, then set the IP address and port (8899), and then click Set. Afterwards, you may go back to Main Control panel to connect to your iOptron mount.
