Kstars 3.7.0 does not start up on Mac 10.15.7

Kstars 3.7.0 does not start up on Mac 10.15.7 was created by Paul

I recently decided to bring my Mac version of Kstars up to date as I was previously running a version from December 2023.

It now fails to run and raises an error message to send to Apple.

Are there any logs I can refer to to sort this out?

Hi Paul,

3.7.0 needs Sonoma (macOS 14) due to some dependencies. Some folks are looking at trying to break this dependency (not sure where this has got to) but if you can upgrade to Sonoma that would probably be the easiest way to get 3.7.0 working.

The requirements state that the minimum is 10.15+ so I thought it was okay.
10.15.7 the most uptodate for my Mac.
The error sent to Apple seems to indicate that the problem is most likely a QT version issue.
