Hi Peter,
After reading the other threads on problems with the driver I did a test with older versions.
In my setup the problem also appears in version 1.3 and later.

Please can you try version 1.8 (www.cloudmakers.eu/atikdrivers/). The problem was change from 1.2 to 1.3 (max packet size).

I successfully tested this build with RPi3 and Atik GP, Titan, One9, VS6 and 11000. Peter

Hi Peter,
Both on my laptop via the USB hub and my RPi3 the test program works. On the latter also without the -long option.
I also took a sequence of six dark frames via Ekos in my standard imaging setup with INDI server on RPi3 and ekos on the laptop.
Everything looked okay including the temperature values.
