INDI Library v2.0.7 is Released (01 Apr 2024)

Bi-monthly release with minor bug fixes and improvements

New drivers profiles in Ekos

If you update KStars tomorrow, all your prior drivers selection will be gone! But do not despair, there is now a driver profile editor similar to the profiles in INDI Web Manager .

By default, there is the Simulators profile, and you can add as many profiles as needed, both local and remote. If you encounter a bug in the new profiles, please met know.

Would it be possible to add to this great new feature a site manager too? ie: multiple Ekos locations.

@Kaczorek, thanks, well, there are KStars Junior Jobs that are open to all developers! Try to see if any mini-project on the list of interest to you.

The tiny icon 'edit profile' in "select profile" is missing, just a empty square at the moment.

It would be super cool to have an auto-detect function to populate the names directly.
root@heidenrod-obs:~# indi_getprop | grep  DRIVER_INFO.DRIVER_NAME
SX Wheel.DRIVER_INFO.DRIVER_NAME=SX Wheel
WunderGround.DRIVER_INFO.DRIVER_NAME=WunderGround
Indi RG11 Rain Sensor.DRIVER_INFO.DRIVER_NAME=Indi RG11 Rain Sensor
GonzoBox.DRIVER_INFO.DRIVER_NAME=GonzoBox
EQMod Mount.DRIVER_INFO.DRIVER_NAME=EQMod Mount

It's a one-time operation, sure you can select the drivers yourself :P
