Yes, welll... :) I'm a beginner in electronics, but have learned quite a bit about the various components in the past year. I also learned how to solder and read the diagrams. What I always end up finding difficult, is how to properly connect everything to ground. Is it simply, in your case, that all components feed back to the negative wire of the mains?

OMG this is awesome! Thanks so much for posting the pictures and diagrams, I'm already looking around for months to see what would be the best solution. I figured to design it myself, but this is so close to what I wanted I might as well try that. :)

Just out of curiosity, but why would you want to take a photo by hand when the INDI system is made for automatic workflows? I would almost assume it could throw that off (ofcourse would be nice if it didn't).

That would be nice indeed, I didn't have a chance to test this again, but it does seem the scheduler is not re-evaluating sometimes.

Well I wonder indeed. As for instance my setup was running great 6 months ago and now isn't. Granted, I should've simply made a backup of my SD-card. But it would be nice if there was a much longer stable version maybe, you can kind of get an idea at which time most people don't report a driver problem to make that the looong stable version. :) It's just something that came up as when I update the builts, all drivers are also updated very regularly and was wondering why.

Just out of pure interest and because some drivers have been behaving badly recently, why are the Indi drivers actually updated so often? I understand this to be the case for Ekos and Kstars, but most drivers like eqmod, lodestar, etc. have been working fine for a long time so would it not be wise to have a sort of stable driver package just sitting there for people to use instead of even the stable and nightly builts? Just curious.

Yes, yesterday I was imaging using SGP and afterwards tried an update for INDI just to test again, now the Lodestar and DSLR simply crashed immediately exactly like your situation. Not sure what's going on, but I'm putting INDI on the side for a minute.

Probably not related, but I experience this fast snapping of photo's after a first normal one with my 6D DSLR, also in the focuser module. Coincidence?

Latest update fixed the connection issues, thanks knro! Only thing now is my weird focus problem still.

Yep, this is the behaviour SGP has as well, it simply goes into recovery mode if one of the devices acts up and retries everything for say 30 minutes. It actually saved my sequence last night as that passing single cloud came along.
