Auto Park Scope Before Polar Align - Is There An Option?

Hi,
I am still new to this and just getting to grips with the Align module in 3.6.+. When I click the Start button for PAA, the mount moves, camera takes a photo, rotates takes second photo....etc, as it should.

My problem is that while learning and testing I had to abort the process a couple of times, then pressed Start again and the mount just runs again from whatever position it was last in. It's my fault because I got focused on the job without checking before starting, and it was of course dark, blah blah blah, but the result was a crash into the tripod.....twice.

REQUEST - Is there a way to make the software confirm the mount is at the parked position before it starts its routine, or make it move to the park position, or even a pop-up reminder?. Is there an option I'm missing or is it something that needs a programming change in the next version?

There's an Auto Park option.

Align Tab - Options - StellarSover Options - Auto Park check box.
It returns the mount to Park after PAA.

Thanks, I'll give it a look....as soon as the skies are clear enough. It might help a little but I'd really be happier having it confirm that the mount is in a predetermined position before starting its procedure.

It helps a lot.
The reason why Ekos doesn't tell you to park for PAA is that PAA can actually be done away from the parking (Polar) position.

I usually do/check PA first thing in the session (maybe right after collecting flats).
If I want to redo PA, I park first.

I haven't tried it yet, but am I right in saying that in KStars, there is the option to set any object as the parking position? (not just polar) I think I saw it in an explanatory video.
