The problem with video is they are quickly outdated because software evolved. If you take a look at Jasem YouTube Channel, you can see a lot of change in ekos between the first and the last video.
What about official documentation? Maybe it's a good idea to make short video tutorial and make a review of the doc in the same time?
What about live astro session and multilingual video?
Linux Mint 19 Cinnamon using PPA for latest KStars-bleeding and INDI
Raspberry Pi 3 B+ with StellarMate
Atik 314E - ASI120M - CG5 with Celestron C9.25
As Ekos is evolving quite quickly due to a growing user base, I do think that a solid documentation is necessary to work on.
Videos can complement the doc, as long it's not about something that will be obsolete from version to version.
There is already good documentation. The one in INDI website is a bit outdated (if anyone can step in, be my guest), the latest stuff are in
StellarMate Ekos documentation
page.
I'm not great at writing documentation, but I'll happy to get access to the pages so that I can help you update them whenever it's necessary based on user's feedback.
Hi Jasem
I've made a few ones in french, since many of us here in France speak... french
I intend to do more, i think the next one will be to show Kstars/Ekos running on windows, with a Rpi acting as server.
This question comes really often in our forums ...

Great idea! I've been hoping for updates. Maybe remove the old videos too. I think the videos up to now have been pretty good. Best to keep them short and sweet but address the potential trip ups - for example, the park position of the mount needs to be saved to the config. So start from scratch - clean computer, clean Kstars (no previous preferences) when doing to video so you see the trip ups when doing the video. And don't assume the person has an observatory. Do you're own clean setup of a scope system like HEQ5, for example.
EDIT: I guess my interest is mostly AP as you may have guessed

Yes this is the intention, will try to cover all aspects in small short videos. Btw, I am still looking into your issue but didn't have time to investigate it fully.
